Allo
This may sound dumb as shit, but anyway... I've tried to make a fat 'wobble bass' for time now but its never as good as I want it.
2 be honest Im not really sure if Im doing it the right way cos Ive never read anything about it anywhere.
In all my attempts I use an LFO to get the movement, but its never tight enuf... Then I'm stuck!!!
What techniques or tricks does everyone on this site use??
(How do you get the movement and if you use an LFO wot do u assign it to....fltercutoff or volume or wot??)
Any reply would be just... well, dandy..... haha

try automating the filter frequency/ fm amount/mod envelope amount (depending on the construction of your sound) in the way you want it to wobble. and thus actually doing manually what an lfo is doing automatically, gives way tighter results cause you are defining the tempo/rythm and the decay of cuts etc.
or try automating an eq band (a moving hard cut can produce really extreme results)
offcourse LFO's sent to master outputs are a very popular way to go, but all those other ways give very nice and way more significant results
try & experiment ...
