i got 1220 behringer mixer with 100 fx on board after 2 months of use cant say a bad word about that piece.

not now but if it breaks down, which it will sooner then most gear. then it'll be an doorstop with 100 fx on board.
getting it used is a good idea though, it would be a lot cheaper.

i've been using my Behringer mixing desk for time now and its been nothing short of excellent. I've used it for live recording which it handles fine but mainly just for use in my studio. Sound quality is good, obviously not that of a mackie or the like but perfectly adequate for bedroom/amateur use. It's pretty rugged too, its been transported in a rucksack in the boot of a car with amps, guitars, drums etc to band practices and taken a few bumps and it's always been ok.
It was only £65 quid so if it does breaks down prematurely, then fuck it, i'll get something else. You can't knock Behringer gear for value.
