Im looking for a plugin that will be able to kill the bass or treble like that of a mixing program such as Native Instruments Traktor. I find that when i slowly bring in the treble after cutting it on traktor it sounds much better than when i automate it on the EQ in cubase. Im pretty sure that this is simply because the automation paths on my EQ are too simple (i usually only automate one of the 4 controllers).

Im thinking of something that is basically like a mixing desk (maby even with effects?) that i can easily automate for tracks on my tunes.

Duno if there is such thing, but might be a good idea?

Just use Ableton Live, you can mix in there and do all types of shit a normal sequencer can do.

I was thinking of something like a VST plugin. Like imagine a vst window that looks identical to a mixing desk. And all the knobs can be automated.

It would be a really simple way to add loads of variation to your tunes.
Anyone know of anything similar to this idea?

not really sure what you're up to but maybe you should use a different filter (e.g. voxengo glisseq) and automate it in realtime and record it.

If you have the Camelphat VST you could do it with that.
