some ppl file ther samples according to key and i think this is a really gd idea. i have basically f all music knowledge so could any1 tell me how u kno wat key a sample is in?

it should say it generally. if not, you can use a tuner.

this will detect key.

generally it's done whent eh sample is recorded because a) it's a bitch to figure out after, it really is b) it's easier to tell what the key is when you have the instrument there and tuned.

so generally if it doesn't say, fuck it, find ones that do say the key.
