on my old laptop i had the ability to choose my source of recording in audacity (marked with the yellow)..on my new laptop this doesnt seem possible, i can only record or line-in or the microphone..



recording stuff coming from other programs running, like recording sounds from a dvd, doesnt seem possible.

did i forget some setting in audacity or is this some driver i need (did put asio4all on it, but it doesnt seem to be compatible with vista)

or should it do in an idiot way and put a cable between the headphone output and the line-in Big Grin

is audicity compatible with vista? audcity is a mind-fuck. i have had to try to mix with that for ppl, and let me just say.

you get what you pay for.

don't forget to check the ticker on ure sound card mixer to record played audio
