i dont see what the big deal is with this track?
its just more commercial than the stuff we like.
i wasnt the biggest lover of the original but it was aaaight, as is this.
dynamite mc is one of my faves. i quite like his lyric on this.
not much imagination in the production tho.
maybe roni would have had a better mess around if it was a full on remix.
meh, not fussed either way.

@vibe_ride: if you really need it, buy it. All that free shit is killing "little" artists like everyone in DnB.
This type of experiment (synth doesn't follow drums) is perfectly allright, especially on a remix. DnB needs experiments to stay fresh. TC makes pop-shit, right. But you can't convince 15-year-olds that DnB is cool if you can't get them on the dancefloor. The worst thing that could happen for the future of the style is people turning away from it. And if it's cheese, then cheese it is, I don't care. Just check other styles (house, Rnb, hiphop, pop, ...) and see how much more cheese there is being produced.

agree with the BD and the 7G.
personally i like it - would c myself boppin to that if it was in a club no probs. not ronis best stuff but its got a get up n go feel to it. personally when i go to a club i dont wanna b surrounded by loads of tough looking men who stand around analysing the break at 2.30 and then argue how the compression could have been a smidgen tighter. u show some random bird some real darkcore dnb and she will run a mile. songs like this are needed unless ur into sausage... which is u know - cool n all but for me its a no go.
cheese has got its place - to attract the masses so that money gets back into the scene. without it the dnb scene would die. also if people realy like dnb after hearing the easy listening pop dnb, they will search harder for the stuff which suits them most, therefore getting money into the more specific dnb genres.
some of the first dnb i ever heard was like General Levy and stuff like that - that stuff was in the charts and it pulled a lot of people into the scene. same with Roni when he won the Mercury Music prize. Same again with acts like Pendulum, TC and Clipz.
dont diss the chedder, its doing an important job

its a rave tune!! so you dont listen to it at home
in deep contemplation, thinking about the meaning of life.
i know a lot of people that laugh just as wildly at breakcore
and hardcore... a lot of people!!!
the term cheese is getting very stretched nowadays imo.
heavy bass, dnb beats, male ragga/rap vocals.....hmmm not really in my description of cheese.
is it because it has a chorus? hmmm
there should be more male vocal dnb stuff.
this track has smashed dancefloors all over the world, so
i dont think the makers of it will mind if some dnb snobs
laugh at it.

liked the original in a dance situation...like seven said dont over analyze it man its a club tune..rmx sounds the same really part from the of synth...mc jakes made the original...dynamite aint done a bad job..every one bashes tc but he has his place man..did you all know he worked with the mighty david cabone for years?gotta give him some props man..what is pop anyway?popular..lol
