Please check out my new track 'Need Your Love' and post your comments here!!!
Haven't posted anything on here for a while, so here's a preview of a track I started about 2 or 3 weeks ago. After a day or so I got side tracked with another tune and didn't complete it. Basically I want to know if this preview has enough mileage to make a full track.
I've tried to get a 'live' sound and keep the effects down a minimum.
Any comments and suggestions will be very much welcomed!

ooh ya bugger, thats a lovely intro!
i think you know wether or not you should make a full track. eh?
right, this is what i would do to it if i had my hands on it.....
i've just mixed this with my fruity and it seems to be at 160bpm..ish. firstly speed it up to 170. i do my jump up stuff at 178 but this is different.
also on the lead guitar-bass
(scoop some 250hz out, its muddy), i would layer a warm sub just to beef it up on the low end more.
the mix aint the best ever but arangement is wicked. stay on this and put the time in on the mixdown.
enjoyed listening to this, was gutted when it suddenly stopped!

Sweet, is it intentional that there are little gaps between the samples, especially the chords in the intro (I like it).
It's good exercise to create harmonic stuff, but there's to little elements that push it towards DnB in my opinion, very far from bad though

first of all, great vibe man, can imagine myself dancin' to this with my eyes closed on when morning arrives... i dig the vocals, drums sound nice, but not listening on a proper soundsystem.. but from what i'm hearing they're a ok! love the rythm by the way... headbobbin'
al the instruments fit like played by a band.. it's a dnb track with feeling.. i like.

easy now tomos!
yeh the tune is sounding good - definately has the mileage to get a whole tune out of this. love the bass u got on it - sounds cool and fresh - definate tomos stylee.
it seems all the tunes u make get better n better produced. FL is looking like the definate way to go.
anyways - its all nice and loud. no probs man

ethereal, uplifting intro. id try to get the bass sitting a little clearer in the mix, the pads drown it out just a little bit. you definitely succeeded in creating a live type vibe, somethin a little different which is good. lookin forward to the completed version.
nice work.

like had been said the mix aint great but the ideas and content more than make up for it.
when the original riff was taken out to leave just the guitar it kinda felt a bit empty imo. maybe add another pad of somesort in there.
like seven gun said, was gutted when it stopped!
When you've finsihed, you fancy letting have a go at remixing it?

Cheers Jim, yeah I know what you mean about it sounding empty when the guitar and bass go solo. I'm scrapping that idea in my new version, which is coming on pretty well. Give me a week or two and it should be somewhere near finished. Yeah if you want to remix this when I've finished it that's cool by me.
