any good? i have read it makes killer bass sounds. Reason is my weapon of choice so the hardware world is foreign to me.
$175 was the price offered to me. if works should i get it?

good for bass it says. but i doubt it's drum n bass style, probably house/trance bass.

could be used to make good starting points, then recorded and use samples from it, load into an NNXT and go from there. elaborate but thats how some cats do it.
i could get that and still have enough left over for Sound Forge 9 and some really quality effects units or plug ins. i am working some crazy huge trigger pads for integration with my drum kit.
or i could blow it all on a Virus Desktop TI... which i will probably never use enough to justify the price.

doint bother its shit. i actually paid for one of these and then part exchanged it within a month. ive got a sample pack from it somewhere . youre welcome to it.
its budget mate dont bother.

Personally i don't really rate the Novation virtual analog sound. I wouldnt bother with an A-Station, I don't think they sound all that great. A bit too clean and pretty.
For about the same price you can a get a Bass-Station which sounds great and is REAL analog. It's monophonic & somewhat limited in its architecture but the sounds it spits out are awesome. There's a certain fatness and roundness that only an analog mono can produce, VA's just don't come close.
I have the rack version & I love it
