Hi people,
I just wanna ask about a particular drum effect that i hear in a lot of my tunes. Its usually used on fiils and the only way i can describe it is this:
Imagine you are filling up a bottle of water, the sound of the air reverberating inside the bottle as the water rises gives a higher sounding pitch as the air in the bottle gets less.
It almost sounds like a pitch shift but i dont think its the same. Maybe if you imagine playing a beat out of some headphones in the top of the bottle as the water rises, the pitch of the beat would stay the same but the reverberating air would gain in pitch as the water rises.
Bit of a wierd analogy but i hope you guys understand it.
Thanks!

export your break to wave.
then reload it into slicer mix it down a bit.
then put a filter on the fx then edit events on the frequency.
for even more effect, gradually pitch them up too.

Exactly. I believe it's the dynamic filtering as Seven Gun explained.
