So, for those who have already seen the 3rd installment of the Lord of the Rings Trilogy, which one do you think is the best movie (I know, it's not completely fair, the Exended Cut of the 3rd one is still months away, but nevermind Big Grin )?
Please only answer if you have seen all three movies (whatever version)

That's for sure, but there's gotta be one part you like better than the others imo. Haven't seen the third one yet, until now I like TTT Ext Ed most. But I'm not voting until I see the third one tomorrow

I agree with mayday here...

And I saw the third one on tuesday already Smile at 00h01 (so actually it was wednesday already Tongue )

I would have thought that the last one would b dissapointing cause it was the "last" one... But it didn´t... And the ending went completely different then I expected 2

The first one was the bet one, then the magic seemed to wander and wander, 'till it disapeared in the 3th one.

The ending of the 3th one, could it be more hollywood alike. Crying Frown If you've read the book, the 3th movie is soo crappy. So many things aren't explained in the last one. Like what's up with up gimli, he almost sounded like rambo or schwarzenegger with his one-liners Roll Eyes
And gollum, in the book he's not the funny creature, so leave it that way. Gollum is a schizo and not funny.

I think the 3th movie has become the victim of it's own succes. Same with the matrix, although that 3th one is 'VOER TE BLEITEN Mad

I also think the third one wasn't the best part if there is any rating able between the 3 parts. The second one got me more, was suprised more at the end cuz in the third one I kinda all had it figured out before it ended.
Don't get me wrong, I dig the last part of the triliogy, massive fightscenes and creatures. "imposante" scenes and the music is quite fine aswell to me Big Grin

what bothered me the most is that no-one in the Shire seemed to know about the quest or the war about Middle-Earth... And that Saruman & Grima Wormtongue didn't rule over the Shire like in the book, so the Hobbits would first have another task when they arrived... I think that's nicer to watch than some crying little fuckers watching a ship take off.

some guy told me there was a small fault in the 2nd movie. somewhere in the background would be a car! Pleased i didn't notice it. Smile

There was a car in the first movie, just before the cornfield, but it was removed for the DVD...

If you check Movie Mistakes you'll find that there are an awful lot of faults in the LOTR trilogy Big Grin

Kinda logic no? the movie is made up in 3 time 3.5 hours of film ... I don´t think this is EVER done before! Give them some credit eh Wink
