strange that you think that about the bass, because the bass is my
favourite thing about the tune.
must be a matter of taste...meh.

the synth are good, but really dont' think they are fantastic quality. there are better ones that emulat analog synths, that have more character to them. these ones sound pretty clean, but they don't have the right harmonics. if yuo push them in distortion and such you'll notice it more.
i hope this track gets signe.d it seems to be a very minimalisitc song, no hook in it. the synths woudl be teh only defining characteristc. the drum is very standard kick snare combo, the very basic to be dnb.
you could try to change up the feel at some points, it's pretty mono through out, the drums are the same, the synth changes but the melody is the same. not much actually changes.
you need to have at least 2 melodies in a track. what's called a counter-melody. i.e. you have a bar of the first melodie then a change up melody after, repeat the first melody, then you can repeat the second melody or you can just have a silence, or a drum , or something compelte different, or samples. helps add variation to a pretty repatious song.

cheers for the feedback.
this is more close to my real style than my recent other stuff.
a little bit "gangsta rollin thru the hood" kinda sound
(called this gangsta lean at first), jump up with a bit of attitude.
@scaranja..
good call, i will see if it sounds better with a phaser or flanger on,
but if not, its cool.
@halph..
i have done a lot of big switches in my recent stuff but decided
on something with a little more flow this time. i think it works.
this synth i used is very simple but its damn sweet (if slightly limited).
i've tried a few different ones recently for bass, 3x osc for "oompa loompa", synapse junglist for "feng shui", sytrus for "chemical tears"
and now the synth chomp made for "gorilla dance".
thnx again

not really feeling the synths on the intro. drums a bit boring. love the break down between 101 and 105,l good sound. great bassline, love the wobberly drum and bass. the second bass at 155 doesnt stand up to the quality of the first bass. is starting to get a bit repetitive now though mybe a different melody could be added. what effect have you used on your break downs is it a phaser or somthing. anyway good mix and production as usual.

yo bro, this shit is rolling.
i can see this on the dancefloor, i'm already there in the corner
doing my thing.
the intro sounds fine, but a bit simple.
the bass and beat combo is cool as f**k.
i can see where you are coming from with the "gangsta" style.
top marks

easy now 7g, blinding tune - i can definately see a big ape bopping to this i.e. me!
anyways do agree with the others on the synth being a little flat, could do with a bit more on it, effects or distortion maybe add a bit of flange and chorus - usually good for me. like the samples u got in there - nice dirty evil string sample u got. anyways this would make a good mc convention tune imo - yeh it dont change that much but if u got a good riff gwarnin then it dont mater bout that.
id like to hear more of that bass right before the drop - that was fukin rude shizzle - would make a good hook i reckon.

The bass in the beginning sounds way too nice and the melodic breaks you do with it are not my style.
The wobble fits perfectly on the beat, but it needs something extra, more grease to get me go wild about it. Like the gunshot like FX and the FX on the bass from that point.
Your best wobble track to date, but I think it needs more identity. After hearing all of it I must say the intro doesn´t fit the rest of the track for me.

Quite a spase sound to this - which is refreshing. I love that wobble bass!! (How do you get that sound?? I'd love to do that...)
Really well produced and well put together. Everything seems to be flowing and mixing really good.
My only criticism would be that the 'track' (shame this is only half a track) is a little too 'standard' for my liking. Whilst I enjoyed it it didn't blow my socks off and will probably be forgotten rather quickly. It sort of gets stuck in 3rd gear for the whole journey.
How about adding some vocals to mix it up a bit? I'm a sucker for vocals because I always think they make a track memorable and distinctive.
Anyways, overall a nice tune which is sounding great - just needs a few extra elements to spice it up.

i love that loop....not big on wobble step but it has great production values.everything is nice and snug when the bass drops.maybe just a touch more drum variation at the beginning.some snare rolls would sound good too.big ups 7G
