fukin love the bass on this, got loads of energy - i would definately listen to this again. not really feeling the intro happy house sound but thats subjective i spose. the extra bar added at the end of the segments would confuse a lot of heads in a rave i can imagine, would be funny to watch...
really like the lower bit rate drums at the start tho - how did u make them?

Very impressive and original. You've definitely got your own style going on, never heard anything like it before.
Love the beats! However, if this were my track I'd make them sound a little drier and take off some of the reverb, especially after the frst drop around 1.35. They are muddying the mix a little.
The middle section of the track is brilliant!! Those fills and basslines are really, really good - got me bopping my head, trying to keep up with the speed of them!! I must look like a Slayer fan on speed...
Anyways, another excellent tune Halph!

Good stuff, but not commercial at all, so very few labels would risk their neck on such a track. Can´t help you there.
If you need vocals, there are several ways to get some. Acapella´s, generated stuff, your own voice+vocoder+fx, movie dialogs,....
Why not make some more commercial tracks and try to get signed with them and once you have a little name for yourself you´ll find the way in the label labyrinth.

I agree, this is very danceble stuff. Nice bassline. Maybe the backgroundsound is a bit too rough/dark/full. But thats just my opinion. Just create music that you would like to hear. So youre doing a dandy job!

YO.
wicked cool bassline. love that shit!
the low synth you use on the intro is too distorty, and seems to intefere with some of the other low sounds a little.
also, one of the kicks you have layered (sounds like one of your hardcore kicks) needs the release tightening up a bit imo.
melodies are cool. intro sounds very much like the intro from your compo tune (not a bad thing).
tell me, what plug ins, fx did you use on the bass sample?
thats quite a raw sounding reecey dutty thing, nice use of pitch too.
i would use the bass more in the tune, by extending it by another 16 or 32 bars (clone the 3x channel, detune it and go nuts) before the breakdown.

Shinyurit- he lower bit rate drums is just some drum machine samples through a LOFI plug-in, i probably mentioned int he wishy washy article.
Tomos- there s 0 reverb in this one, and usually i have a splash of it. i don't think i even use a reverb for anything in this track.
CULTURE BOY- thanks, i tihnk so too
BattleDrone- it's har dot make commercial tracks, and if i had some vocals i think these would be a lot more appealing. i noticed one thing about every song i see signed, it's got vocals.
Seven Gun- i think you're right, and that's what rockx ment, that bass is a bit warm and it messez with the the deep drumz, kinda toms/timpani distorted. they are a bit long, but it's where the deper part of the drum comes out. they all just meld together. some poeple liked it.
i didn't even realize it but jut PSP MixBass and a eq. cloned the 3xOSC one for a sine and one for the detune upper half. the EQ ont eh upper half removes all teh bottem end andthe mid 1k area. leaving 500-800hz and boosting 5khz.
too much bass can be bad, because you can always add more bass after, by personal EQ, but you cannot take it away as easily. even though the bass is in there pretty strong. it'll suck the life outta the track. that's why i am so sparing on using bass at all in my tracks.

Nice crunchy loFi drums. Sounds good.
drop @ 1:34 is wicked. I really like what's going on here, though it kind of gets boring at times. Not exactly sure what to suggest tho. @ 2:40 the drums dont quite work for me, they lose a little too much clarity I think.
Overall this is a cool track, it tries to do something different. I don't think it's quite there yet tho. Keep working on it, I think this could be a really special song.

drum and bass is boring. most dance genere are. but a good tactic is lyrics. and i really don't wanna. i'll try to work on the clarity. it's ahrd to ahve deep bass AND clarity. i can make it clear if i remove allt eh bass, then i get told there's not enough bass.

I agree with you, don't use vocals. Would ruin it IMO.

vocals wouldn't ruin it, they would fit to the song, not like otehr tracks with a dj that is going as fat as he can about something total noob and unrelated.
thoes ruin ANY song.

well, I can't quite judge the mixing/mastering/etc of the whole deal, seeing as I'm on shit comp speakers at work....
however, from a compositional and musical standpoint:
this ish is pretty banging. spastic enough to keep my interest, but not too much so as to where you couldn't rock a dancefloor with it... quite a difficult balance to achieve.
I'm not sure how I'd feel about vocals on this one, maybe an mc on the halftime bits, or some hyper-edited weirdness... but as far as anything resembling traditional vox go, I would say neh...
I don't like the little solo wahngg synth fill... the little melody it plays seems overly happy/cheese, it's not a good juxtaposition. Maybe just shift a note or two around to sort that...
