The build-up is pretty good and well constructed, albeit long. The slap bass is a good touch - I was kinda hoping the track would showcase some more funky rhythms and melodies.

Not too fussed about the opening beats. However, once the melody kicks in at 2.23 the track really picks up. (Why not add some of that slap bass into the melody at this point?).

Not really my style this, but it's pretty good nevertheless.

This is not my first composition but it looks like my first excepted D&B track,
everything I've uploaded so far has not fitted quite in the D&B box but I'm glad I'm getting there. Big Grin

intro seems a little drawn out, but when it kicks off, im likin it. respect for the use of free plugins, sequencer etc. I feel these days its too easy to obtain expensive plugins for free, so I do respect the angle you have taken here with your production skills. there are a couple of ghost vox i would turn up, but overall sounds pretty good on my headphones. Big up Smile

dark and dingy beginning, thats not bad i love that. really got me making a picture in my mind which i love about decent drum n bass. good build up. You need to learn how to use drum machine a little better, they are scatty but not always right on the button. Not repetetive which i like, refreshing to see that some people do make their own loops and not just use Dr REMad if you use reason 3)loved the second break dont expect it coming but builds up nicely.

cool 80s style intro, love the effect u got on the voice. nice drum pattens u doing but im not a big fan on the double snare / phase efect thing u got on some of the hits. there seems to be a bit too much reverb in some places - makes it sound like theres a low rumble continuously goin on - that might be why some people think there is too much bass goin on. it does add to atmos but when the tune drops i think its a good idea to not have too much if not any on the track specially on the low end of the spectrum.

anyways - some sweet ideas goin on here, sounds refreshing to.

very original. not heard too much like this before.
very abstract sound. if picasso made dnb it would sound like this.
i'm not saying its crap, because its not. far from it in fact. i quite like it because i dont know whats coming next. saying that, i do prefer a more constant rythym to dnb tho.

not my style but a cool track mate.

well from what I read here, It looks like my decision to keep a more solid beat next time, was right. and I have listened to all the advice.
so expect 'in future' something more appealing to most of you, hopefully.
