just watch Die Hard 3, with the evil villian from Lolita.
Requium for a Dream is one of the strongest drug films i have ever known. it show so many peoples decay from drugs. like 4 people. it's pretty bad.

Well - I have to agree that all Kubrick's movies are classics, Full metal jacket and Dr Strangelove (or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb) being my absolute favorites.
There are simply too much 'good' classics but when you'd ask me, the ones popping up in my mind would be:
- Metropolis (Fritz Lang's one)
- Shichinin no samurai (Seven Samourai - The good, the bad and the ugly was a remake of it)
- Full metal jacket
- Dr Strangelove or: How I learned to stop worrying and love the bomb
- Alien
- The Godfather
- Star wars (not a real fan - but it is a classic)
- The good, the bad and the ugly (again - not a fan, but a classic anyway)
- Lawrence of Arabia
- A Clockwork Orange
- Reservoir Dogs
- Pulp fiction
- Scarface
...
And probably forgetting a whole lot of them

even to this day, metropolis is amazing. i just cannot believe the graphics and concept. it's so perfect and timeless. it is just so increadable. in the infantcy of movies, before tehre was recorded dialouge. the pictures just YELL so strongly of this matrix-like future. and it doens't look cheese, but just so correct.
