Please check out my new track 'turd throat' and post your comments here!!!

easy now .be lot, this is a tune i made when i had a cold, hence the name. i dunno if its the weather out ere but tbh i was amazed by the amount of snot that came out my nasal passage during these last couple of weeks - so much so i decided to dedicate this tune to it.

anyways - same old shit.. tell me what good and whats not - all criticisms are greatly appreciated.

peace

Whoa!!!! Rinse Rinse Serious moshing material!! The drums sound a bit like the industrial metal band, Ministry. The basslines are f**king brilliant. The only slight fault I can find is the sound - it's slightly muffled and needs to be a brighter. Plus, I'd turn that bassline up from 0.46 to 1.07. It's needs to be a bit crisper so we can all get a good listen. Buy hey, these things can soon be sorted out with a few tweaks, so no big deal. The fact is, this is an excellent, excellent tune!!! Btw, I love those live-sounding tom drum rolls - you don't normally hear that in DnB. Nice little touch.

This style is not really mine.
Snare sound is not my stuff at all, sounds so eighties. The percussion sounds a bit "Casio".
Track rolls fine, reminds me of Prodigy´s Firestarter at times. The sporadically played double snare drum doesn´t fit imo. Track misses a hook and needs clearing up in the lower mids (it´s crowded in that area). Filter the low end of your pads out maybe.

turn those hats up.
i like the dominant snares in your stuff.
this tune deff needs more bassy stuff going on.
hmmm, sounds like my speakers have a sore throat while playing this tune.
a better mixdown would seriously help this.
maybe too compressed too?
nice ideas. just needs more to catch my ear.

Hey Shi, I keep going back to the website to listen to your track again Rinse Rinse . It's a seriously good tune and the 40-odd percent sucks.Roll Eyes Yeah, the sound isn't quite fully there but that's easily solved. The important thing is, you've nailed those basslines and beats. Makes me wanna dive off my sofa and do some serious moshing around my living room, while trashing everything in sight!

lol the google add at the top of the screen says "Excess Throat Mucus?" !

Nice big drums, always nice to hear some toms in there. I like your bass lines and think you have a good song progression going, however, I think the bass is too "wide" in the mix. Maybe lower the reverb a touch and try an eq'd up mono version as an alternate.

nice bass, I only would do some high bass sound or a low synth behind the bass line to fill up the low frequencies.
