hi
im looking to find some nice drum breaks. i want some like sub focus uses, nice bouncy clean drums. i know theres heaps of drums out there but all the ones ive found are either too complicated or sound shit.
can anyone point me into the direction of some nice clean sounding drum breaks!!

Ive also been looking on sample cds etc for nice loops, not much luck..the tambo loops are usually shit and bongo loops etc just dont sound nice... really want nice splashy modern cymbal/tamb/ride breaks... old school ones are cool but want some fresh sounding tings

there are some good posts on sample resources and specificly on drum breaks on here... just search a little in "Production Q & A's".

try the david carbone sample cd, some nice percussion breaks in there to use, i like using repulsive wavs too, some real bouncy breaks in there and yeh dnb wiki is a goldmine for breaks.

Hey man,

I have found that creating a break out of a mixture of kick n snare samples mixed with some High pass filtered breaks and Hats patterns will give you something like what you are looking for. Do not be naive enough to assume that Subfocus just sits some loops underneath the rest of the aural assault that he produces. Look around for some help, particularly the forums here on drumnbass.be

also firestorm has some good sampled breaks in it.. most are edited but are free of effects (Compression eq etc) dave carbone was good aslo...

did you buy the repulsive wavz sample cd ?
