Hey, i used to work with fruity loops, and fruity loops has an onboard keyboard/synthesizer. Now i finally installed reason, and you have to have a external midi keyboard? to play notes and sounds? or am i missing something here?

you can find the piano roll in the "main" sequencer... I guess you are using the matrix?

for the moment im going trough the manual, and im working with subtractor analog synthesizer. But i can't seem to find the piano roll.

ok, well, once you have created a mixer and a substractor, go the the sequencer page... by default, it is at the bottom at the screen, but you can detached the window. then, you should see the synth listed in this sequencer...you have to highlight it, and press the button underneath the file tab, top left corner... i'm not in front of reason right now, so can't tell you exactly Wink
