I think you've got a point, although imo sometimes it's hard to get the right lyrics in the right spot, sometimes imo there ain't a spot.

there is always a spot for something at some point. even if it's ONE LINE. it just adds direction and flavour. most tracsk you can step it darker with it, or make it light hearted, or make it creepy, or make it HARD.

i have a couple of very good MC friends of mine.
i just need to get their vocals on wave.
i am a big fan of original vocal use in dnb.
look out for their use in future tracks

Totally agree Seven. I always try to get some vocals in there. It adds the 'human touch' which is really important, imo. Without vocals, DnB can sound a bit inhuman and unemotional. The human voice can really evoke all sorts of feelings and images which the top DnB producers have always used to great effect.

meh, lyrics, i just mean human voice to music, not even lyrics, as much as just recording. human voice is the best insturment to add to anything souless, to add a hint of rawness to the perfection of the machines that make our music.

drum samples help, but not even to the extent as a simple vocal. for example "smake my bitch up" 2 lines, one amazing middle eight of a girl.
