Please check out my new track 'The Imperial Sand Hog' and post your comments here!!!
Thanks for the input on the preview - gone back and got the sub and overall volume louder and drums punchier. Prettty much a different track - the middle nero part has been taken out and it will be a seperate track.
Once again, the sounds all came from NI Massive and the genius workings of the mighty Equipped on his Virus C. The drums were made using single hits from a David Carbone kit - eq, hp filter, pan graphically automated - same with bass sounds. You're not going to find a steady beat in here - so don't look, skirting somewhere between unlistenable Dnb and listenable IDM
Cheers to the Dnb.be massive - some incredible tunes coming off this site these days - big up!

Quite frankly, phenomenal, imo. I've been into DnB since about 2000 and this is up there with the best I've heard.
The indian vocal sample you've added really adds a new dimensions to the track and gives the human touch. The only thing I would do with that sample is support it with a sitar or some other instrument, or perhaps a female vocal - it sounds very slightly lost and on its own at the mo.
Other than that, I've no other comments - other than to ask, why can I buy/download this?!!

Really nice production quality.
Very nice soundscape in the intro.
Cool drums, sound great. Nice choppage indeed. Great bass sounds as well.
I personal find the vocal interferes with the track; not sure exactly why it isnt working for me. Check out Enduser's Bollywood breaks, he makes these kind of vocals really work with rough beats.
I think if I were you, I'd just remove the vocal. I find it a bit obtrusive.
Everything else is spot on though. Very nice work.

I had to come out of the woodworks to leave a comment on this one. This has to be the sickest tune I have heard on here....EVER! The work after the drop, is just pure fucking sickness. I cant stop playing the drop over and over. Insane, is the only word to describe it. You and Equip are a lethal ass duo imo.
RespeKt!

Woah, sweet intro. It gives off a darker feeling, kind of like something is going to happen. That arabian(?) feel is really nice. At the 1:50ish mark is awesome. The bass is nice and different (not the standard reece bass). I do think the break could have been heavier, to me it sounds a little light. I do like how you messed with the break and kept the patterns interesting.

ok so i liked this one, now how origanal does that sound?. not very so lets start by talking bout the openning whhich is cheeky, i like how you used the film score from black hawk down, the way the bass line rolls into that is nice, would like to have heard it deeper and growl more but nice idea, the drum patterns are nice even though they seem a bit to low for my licking could of done with being more beefed up in my opinion but the break on them is nice like the way you glitched them out in there then to bring back the vocals fronm bhd is nice the break is energetic, love the way get it going again bring that back with the fake drop for all the numb nuts in the crowd, good work on the glitch on the voice, but would of liked to hear athe bass line to get heavier and darker in the second part of the track. but apart from that was a good effort overall kept me intrested all the way through it well done

Stompin, love it!!!!!!!!
A few months ago I tried to remix the same Hans Zimmer track that you have here, but its nowhere near as good as yours.
I like the way that you have used it to good effect along side the bass.
Great stuff

Thanks for the comments
No glitch or randomizer effects were used. The beat was made from single hits and then effected with filters, mid range eq sweeps and panning. If you look at one of my posts for the preview of this track I explain each step in making the drums. Cheers.

Thanks. You can download it at my acid planet link below. I'm heading over to England and Scotland for August - hoping to see Techdiff and Reckon if he's still there - anyone in the area down with checking some shows?

Nicely done intro! Reminds me of the desert vibe on Lost Cause by Noisia. Damn, nice drop in too! Great production all around here! The vibe reminds me a bit of a great game series called Homeworld if you've ever played it.
The only only constructive criticism I could give would be that maybe it all sounds "too wide" as a full mix? IE: the bass and drums almost sound like they are following the same panning and reverb trails. Maybe some mono center panned percussion to complement the main beat? Nit picking aside...AWESOME WORK! Schmidi.
