Dutch:
is substroming van de hardcore house uit Frankrijk, maar niet alleen dat. Het is een speciaal geluid dat een aparte soort beats heeft. Frenchcore is midden in de jaren '90 in Frankrijk is ontstaan onder leiding van Manu Le Malin, en Laurent Hô, die later het label UWe zou oprichten.
Niet alle Franse deejay's maken frenchcore, maar producers uit andere landen kunnen het ook maken (hoewel dat niet zoveel voorkomt).
French:
est un style qui s'exporte de plus en plus en dehors des frontières françaises. C'est un style de Hardcore très dansant ayant des origines dites « industriel ». Créé par le groupe Micropoint (duo composé de DJ Radium et d'Al Core). Il essaie de s'ouvrir à d'autres influences comme la fusion rock hardcore/techno hardcore représentée par les groupes Fast Forward, Palindrome, ou encore Moshpit.
