im new to this and looking for any advice to help make bass im using reason 3 and at the moment im using the nn-xt sampler and loading in two or three bass samples and de-tuneing them and then adding a scream 4 for a bit of distortion or the other way i was doing it was to combine two or three malstrom synthesizers re wire each one to its own channel on the mixer de-tune them and add a sream 4 for distortion are these ways any good or am i doing it all wrong , if any body could give any advice that would be a great help

that is one way of doing it.

load up a combinator and then inside the combinator load a 6:2 mixer.

now load up a subtractor... heck load up 6. set them all to square wave and turn on all the ocsillators.

detune each synth... example: #1 +14 -14, #2 +9 -9, etc.

you can add a couple insert effects if you want.
don't pan, keep it all centered.

this should give you one crazy big bass sound. i am not on my computer right now so i can look at my presets and give exacts.

i think this is what some would refer to as a 'reece'

fanxs for the advice i tryed doin it that way and i got a much better bass noise
