60 min beta-testing period learned me this:
HUGE improvement of the sequencer: color-customisation, add tags, easier automation (as sub-lanes of yer module/instrument nstead of seperate lanes), sooo cute that lil' timeline (took them 3 versions.. 
)
improvement of the tool menu/devices: quantize/pitch/note velocity/note length/legato adjustments/alter notes
thor: got to get used to the interface (a bit scruffy and untidy imo), but the sounds are convincing and sculpting/routing (think Albino-matrix) options are ace..
A big round of applause to the audio-input facilities (in fact in previous versions you could do the same with a workaround-way, but here things are more cleverly integrated)
regroove: could be THE tool to add that own familiar quantization/personal groove patterns, but imo the possibility to up to add 8 different grooves is a bit farfetched.

apperantly beta testing for reason 4 is in finishing stages and they've started the production process of the new version.
so it's comming very soon.
no release date yet.

been testing since the first beta's, well 'testing' just trying the new stuff out.
the rpg-8 is absolutely wicked, this in combination with the matrix, redrum and regroove mixer i believe this to be a version which could be well integrated into live use !

It's available for the masses...
Here's the demo version for pc (96MB).
Although I'm a complete Fruithead I will try this one and am willing to buy the shit if it turns out to be good.
Full documentation can be found here (multi language) .
The sequencer looks sweet (see the demo video to see it in action). It really shows great improvements compared to the previous version.
