hats need reverb and mabye a crusher (prob not a good thing to do but ive had camel crusher on hats before and its made em sound sick, but by now i realise that this aint no dirty track. its gettin a bit reppetitive now tho. they way it jus fades out, i dont like that try taking elements out to build it down

This reminds me a lot of the sad emotional tracks from Aphex Twin (=compliment). The drumline sounds a bit chaotic to me (not sure if this is intended?).
Sound quality is ok. Starting of with the hihat to introduce the drumline is not really a good idea in this case.

nice ideas.
i think you should bring the beats in with your break filtered,(swooping slowly down in frequency from high to medium) instead of just hats. that introduces a break much nicer.
also, i'm not a huge fan of the unquantized sound of the beats in this, although they are quite licky and nice, they would sound better if they were in time a bit more.

samples are all nice and fit well.
little bit too much reverb in the mix tho.
all in all, i like your sound, it has an elegance about it.
hope that helps.

I'm really feeling the vibe on this one. Should be called 'Happy Pills'! Lovely.

On the downside however:

1. The hi-hat introduction sounds a bit amateurish and out of time.
2. The beats sound too-busy. Imo, you need to slim them down and take out some of the reverb.
3. You need to balance out all the down-tuned melodies with something of a higher pitch. But not too loud or complicated. It just needs something to lift it a bit.

On the good side, the bass from 1.44 is excellent! Really warm sound, perfectly complimenting the other melodies which are excellent too. Overal, a great track.

... I feel happier after listening to that!

I agree, sounds a little like old Aphex Twin's sounds, lovely preview mate. Keep working.
Cheers.
