When our school did something like that , no dnb at ALL Cry

Only those stupid commercial djs from café d'anvers , club geluk etc Roll Eyes

to bad i can't be there , i would have enjoyed that party fo sho Big Grin

But due to other obligations ( Bambu with Equinox) i can't , maybe next time Bigup

the party is hold by vrijwilligers of different school in leuven(interscolaire samenwerking leuven),and we didn't want to make a pure commercial party,last year the dnb formula worked great so we decided to do it again Big Grin

(although i'm officialy not part of ISL-->i'm on st Lukas Brussels)

about the date-->i tought it was a real pitty aswell,officialy chrysostomos is on the last friday,in this case 30 january but silo was reservated and we tought it might be a risk organising the party on 3 different places as not a lot of the members have the experience from last year-->better stick together

bout the massive junglism thing-->
at first we planned something for the end of february,but due to a lot of other thing happening in leuven and outside of leuven during the same period we tought it might be better we throw something end march/begin february
the line up would hopefully be something like:woodrow,d-lux,and the dutch dj TEK from fckn wckd
and if everything goes well bambu will blow away sojo the 3th previewed edition from now on a pure old school night Big Grin

what a hectic night
had some trouble for an hour in the hall at the entry of the small room,nobody could enter or leave,cause everyone wanted to enter/leave first
except from that part i enjoyed this party a lot
bloodblistah and ..(don't know his name)started off with reggae and some soft ragga,which turned into heavy hardcore ragga by the end of their set,stuff a la "world gone mad"
1 of the 3 slipmates opened in the big room with house,a bit harder and less "warm-up-ish" then i expected to
after that it was sarge & my turn to play in the small room,not too happy with my own mixing,but i took some of my best records with me so that was kind of ok Big Grin

sarge played some heavy amens aswell,wich got great reaction from the crowd
during the same time the big room was getting filled while jef muylaert was playing trance,but can't really comment on that as i've only seen 4 minutes of it
after that it was wontime's turn in the small room,pitty cause that was the moment problems were rising at the entry and i missed allmost the whole of his set
in the meanwhile twieq was setting the big room on fire,and what i heard of it really surprised me,i'll make sure to check him again when he plays in leuven again
after that buscemi played in the big room,and it was a bit too soft for the very moment,as twieq's set was a lot harder and i think people wanted to stay in that atmosphere a bit longer,but hey,"ieder z'n stiel" :wink:
during the same time dread pressure started in the small room,and it seems like some people weren't impressed,cause from that moment people started to leave,just like in the big room:the harder parts were over,and people felt like going to bed or something
i also want to mention dj jonas lofner,who played in the big room at the end,although he wasn't announced or even asked when the posters and flyers were pressed

except for the music i enjoyed seeing some people i hadn't seen in years,people from my previous school and that kind of stuff
nice to see -=@C1D=- and Hans from Bugtronix,been a while
nice meeting some new people,Kozz,Lore,..
etc...
hope to see some people on the next (tbc) ISL party with probably ragga,dnb,... in a smaller location
