ok........
this must have been asked a million times already,
but, in your experiences, which vst's have you all found
best for making dnb basslines/samples???
help and advice on FM8 is still needed too.
i thinks its got ace potential for nasty bass.

robs stuff is good.
i found the trilogy is made to do nice ones.
ultra analog by applied acoustics is a PHAT one.
but really the one thing most people don't look at is this. it's not the synth as much as the effects. you cang et effects that modle analog tube tape sounds. voxengo has a large line of high quality ones that i think are so amazing onces you play with them enough.
psp does too. saturation distortion is good for anything, not just gabber distortion, but RnB making any bassline sound warmer and phatter.
hell the bassline i just made for seven guns remix i have that state saved and ti sounds amazing on anything bass. that was with some eq's and a TriDirt distortion and the PSPsaturation

all together, for basses i have used fruity's 3x osc, vangaurd,
synapse junglist, ts 404, FM8, and one hit bass samples.
i want more knowledge on the synths at the high end of the market.

wel to be honest mate synths are all the same just about. just play with the main stuff at first like the main oscs simple lfos it aint hard. think about what your doing and how it will effect the sound your making, and why its doing what its doing. watch videos on youtube, read the manuals its all good my friend

If you want sick basses, use 3XOSC in Fruity and add some filtering.
Or you could go for the dead easy mega powerfull synth "Massive".
If you want to have a quick start, check out some presets you like and start tweaking them...
