Please check out my new track 'Seven Gun's WHOMPA DUB (The Big Bad Remix)' and post your comments here!!!
Re did the bass by taking what he had and making it distorted as fuck and scooping out the entire bottem end. then cloneing it, and reducing it to a single Sine Waveform. added in a small pad during the drop form his intro synth. took one of the hihats and ptiched it down to be a nice ride.
replaced a drum sample he made from drum machines, which was snappier, but this ones dirtier. layerd and compressed teh snare with one sample of my own from that snare pack. thoes are the snappiest snares and i use them for everysong, 2 or 3 at a time. replaced the kick with the punchy one.
added a bit of verb, and crush walnuts.
added a bit of drum in the start, maybe fixed a few of the change ups. like the kick in time with the bass at some parts, makes it have that extra UGH.
oh big thing was adding a differnet sample for the drop. always a good thing helps define the drop better.
this one didn't ahve if as defined i thought.
then compressed and eq'd everything
and masterd it the same as everything else, nice mushing of high end, light master compressor, warmafied it to give it some analog distortion sound, and then master limiter.
seven gun seems pleased with it to asking me to post it here asap.

too right i'm pleased with it.
its on steroids this mix!!!
i showed a couple of people, and they said its raw n nasty!
its got that oomph that was missing from the original.
i'm gonna play this out when i get a chance.
you must be at least mildly satisfied with it yourself.
nice mixdown, nice upgrades, nice one!

This sounds quite good.
Bassline is a little repetetive (i.e. boring) IMO. But it sounds great overall.
Nice mixdown.

Cool stuff man. Sounds like noisy industrial sounds, but everything seems to be totally under control. Nice job.

EZ Mr Halph=Price! Excellent ideas and fresh mashup beats brought to the table. Lovin the ideas to this track as am sure Seven Gunn'll be happy about this one. simplistic ideas, yet so effective. Only downfall would be Dj's possibly wanting to play this and try to mix it. Novice mixers mainly would have trouble mixing into another tune, but what I'd play after this tune would be funny, cos its different but grimey! Think you've done a good job on this track, its each to their own but I like my techier edge.well used breaks/bass/samples. Keep up the good work... shall be listening to more of your forthcoming stuff!! Peace
