what do you all think of that pendulum video on at dnbarena at the moment, where they were performing "blood sugar" live? i respect they are being different, and they can do their shit at a rock concert but if that was at a dnb rave it pisses me off. I went to a rave recently, and then pedulum came on (god forbid this should happen to you), and they fucking started playing like house or breaks or whatever that shit like "fasten your seatbelt" is. i respect them but when im at a dnb rave i wanna hear drum n bass. and if they did that live shit at a dnb rave i would feel conned out of my money.

i know what you mean, i like breaks and other types of music, especially techno n psy trance alot, but not in a dnb rave. i dont mind going to raves where they have an hour dnb, an hour techno etc, but during the middle of a set totaly disrupts it, especially if your goin from dnb to breaks. they done it last year at tranzmission.

i do not like their recent stuff,
but,
they are very good and healthy for the scene.
bringing noobs to the sound of duh.....cha...duh..cha 
with the live stuff, i big em up for that.\
i have seen dnb live and it rocked (quite literally)
guitars, synths, live drums etc etc.
was nice to see something more visual than just the standard dj trying to be cool behind the decks.

you can hate them all you want, but when someone says dnb, most non-dnb heads think pendulum
thats perhaps a good thing, let them live the illusion while we enjoy the real thing

I like pendulums older stuff muuch more then their recent output (wich has very little to do with dnb in my book)
check out spiral, another planet and voyager ...next level buzzinezz.
as much as i dislike their style it has gotten many youngsters into dnb , wich is a good thing.
Don't see the point in ''i hate this...''-threads but carry on 
...

Pendulum - Slam the ultimate soundtrack for a Nintendo entertainment system (8 bit NES) shoot'm up. Can be played on the hardware too.
It's a sellout. DnB for (little) Kidz, I can imagine a 3 year old bouncing to this.
You should hear the Pendulum remix for K3's "Oma's Aan de Top" though, it's a reall smasher
video doing Blood Sugar Even 10 guitars on stage can't hide the cheesyness.
It's damn close to bad heavy metal (Europe - "The final countdown" and the likes) the intro sounds like "Killing in the name" from Rage Against The Machine.

I saw this blood sugar video some tme ago ,and only one thing what i'd like to say is they more tryin to look like a live band then is worth it.
Love old Pendulum style ,remix of Bacteria or spiral ,those are good tracks.
