In line with our public information policies, here is a list of changes that have been implemented in the vote page recently 
- [DONE] Show login form when user is not logged in
- [DONE] lower default play volume to 75% to eliminate clipping in the flash player
- [DONE] add link to open the player in a popup window (requested by Battledrone)
- [DONE] add a textbox for members so they can write a review in the listen page (requested by Muad'Dib)
- [DONE] move the review textbox to the top of the page (requested by Cynik)
- [DONE] remove box with info about the mp3 (bitrate etc), is obsolete
- [DONE] show comments that producer entered about the track when uploading in a box underneath the player

There is a lot more to come, you should see the to do lists, there's enough in there to keep me busy for months
Thanks a lot for considering a donation, I was panicking when I realized the hosting fees are due soon. It's not a huge sum but more than I can afford atm...

so wh would we want a pop-up player even after we click to listen to the song there's a full screen pop-up with a vote...
secondly it's awsome you can reply on the vote page now, but that wasn't a big problem since you could click a link to see the review page. but now there's no link and if you're listening to the song you can't get back to the tnes section as easily.
if you post and saw a typo you have to find the review thread and change it there, since there's no direct link to the tracks thread.

the whole concept has to be thought over I guess, but the master is not at home now so we rest our efforts untill he finds the time.

I've put the ads on the left side now. I did this as a test a couple of days ago on the samples page, and the clickthrough rate went up from 0.8% to 3.4% 
Since this the most popular page (apart from the forum
) but having the least clickthrough (only 0.4%) this might be worth trying.
It looks weird but I guess we'll get used to it lol.

The 'review' box in the vote page is now removed for tracks that are older than 60 days. To prevent people wasting their time accidentally reviewing very old tracks.

I've made some updates to the vote page. I've also double checked the functionality of the page after uploading - it doesn't turn blank now like last time
New feature:
- added an option so that you can choose how many ratings you want to fill in. Sometimes when you have a lack of time or inspiration it is not nice to have to fill in the long 11-ratings vote. You can now switch to the 5-ratings or simple 1-rating vote using the options box at the right. This setting is also remembered for the duration of the browsing session.
Bug fixes and optimizations:
- entirely reworked the page so it uses my new page generation class. The code is now 5kb shorter
- fixed an SQL injection vulnerability in the trackid parameter.
- removed all code that depended on the download parameter. There are no downloads anymore in this page.
- removed introductory texts for the voting form. It is quite clear what this form is for.
