Does anyone have any hands-on experience with this one? I've seen it in some live setups, and it comes with software to use it as a plugin, pretty much like the virus TI. Price is way lower than a virus though, wich makes it quiet interesting. Does anyone know if this synth can be usefull for dnb production, or if it is only suited for dance/trance/pop music?

The SH-201 is a basic 2 oscillator polysynth with a few bells and whistles.
To say it's only suited to a specific genre of music is a little strange
it's a synthesisier - you make your own sounds! It has oscillators, lfos, filters, envelopes etc etc therefore, i'm quite sure you could coax some dirty basses and ripping leads with a bit of programming. No true synthesiser is limited to any genre.
Whether or not they'd sound any good though is another story though, I've not played on one but I've not heard anything good about it......
Apparently it looks cheap and it sounds cheap. I'm not a fan of virtual analog anyway, but this looks particularly bad. For £350 you could get yourself a real analog, a Juno 6, 60 or 106 and be done with it, and it would sound soooo much better.
