Please check out my new track 'Control Me' and post your comments here!!!
Thanks to some advice from you guys, I think I am getting closer to the sound I am after, did a bit of layering for this one, a minimal bass thumper. Hope you enjoy and big ups tho those who have help direct me, not there yet, but a lot closer. cheers

Yeh, like this track a lot.
Sorry, my first review so don't suppose I'll be too comprehensive.
Lovely vibe to it, real nice sounds and a pro phatness.
I aspire to write tracks of this quality.
Cheers,

Good stuff... great progress in your production skillz. I would have expected some sub bass elements after the drop at 1:30 that would give the track a full sound and give it more dynamic.

highly rated track.. lets see
very 1999 feel with this one. production is alright. some of the bass sounds could use quantizing and/or adsr tweaking
2:08 huge hollow sound is a fresh addition
beats dont do much, just a loop all over.
gets a bit dragging, looses momentum, Id pronounce the second drop a hell lot more, with a simple drums + bass sequence
7/10

Not a bad track but seems to lack the swirling fx and background imagery, use sum light reverb to carry on some of the sounds to fill in the holes. As others have said try to add some variation with the drums e.g. pitched fills and feint starts etc.
Overall the quality of the Track is good and there are some good ideas and kool sounds. There is a distinct pattern which builds well and keeps interest, the vocals are a nice effect but could be used a bit better
A good track, great effort.
Keep up the good work
7/10

thats a bad tune man! like it.
bass is heavy!
ya need to pm me and tell me what synth you made that bass with. i fuckin must know!
kick/snare combo sounds fat too.
cant give a technical review as i'm listening on headphones that are broken and only coming out of one ear LOL!
what i would say tho, is it deffo needs more variation. needs one or two more elements too.
like a nice dirty lead synth.
production is damn tight tho.
peace!

thank you for your reviews guys. I agree that the beat does get a little boring, will be fixing that once the vocal version is sent to me. I like to wait to see what our mc can do to it, then do some renovations to those beats in the form of breaks etc but i will definitely post up the full mix with vox for the crew to critique.
definitley agree Seven Gun, that a big dirty leed synth is required to break it up a little. will do
gotta love this site, by far the most helpful and resourcefull dnb site on the web. cheers.
