Please check out my new track 'ultimate reign' and post your comments here!!!
what I didnt say when I posted the prev. I used drums from a few producers on here, greyone and surora as well as the little synth melody - surora. used a couuple of my own loops and ofcourse the mighty virus
dunno what the fuck vocal says because I bounced it a coule of times and lost the original
This track has been deleted on the producer's request
cheers Cynik, real nice clean heafty sound on that main synth, drum's ain't my thing, diggin the rippin hat's, and that arp synth gives it loads of move, the main loud bit's like the synth n snare all sound to hard and up front compared to the more suttle warm part's like your arp and rippin hat's for example, anyway just my take, heafty ideas, heafty synth's and a heafty tune, cheers Cynik.
Wow very impressive so far, great bass work. for my taste a bit too stereotype drums (but hey its me talking). the only neg thing for me is the main snare, dont know if its the sound or the ballance...
intro goes great , drop needs more kicking (100 - 250hz) , i notice you didnt layered a bass under your snare
, great vibe among the tune , i notice some leveling difference when the track goes , dunno if thats a compression thing or a filtering of your bass/sub.
Structure needs some changes imo ,
your drums on 2nd drop sounds alot more louder then the ones on the 1st , great for so far , the only bad issue is the 100 -200hz thing that is missing , imo as you have place now , instead of eqing the bass you can add another bass to it or some stabs with the needed freq.
track gets a bit repetative after a while but doesnt bother much , massive overall anyway.
What's up Cynik. Gotta say that I've been listening in and the new stuff you've been cranking out has been top notch - and damn heavy as usual. This is no exception. The intro is massive - love the stuccato sound and the grimey synths that come stabbing in are serious. Nice touch adding reverb to a few of those hits while leaving the rest dry. Vocal sounds nuts - whatever it's saying. The drop is powerful, mostly due to that massive snare sound (sounds like some old Infiltrata stuff in that sense). Good drop out - another nice build with all those synths. Overall mix is huge: nice and loud but sounds a bit washed out - for example the kick and the bass seem to be rumbling along at similar frequencies. Like how the similar sounding synths (one doing sort of a reece thing while the other is stabbing around 6:20) are placed in their own distinct spot in the stereo field - proof that you can saturate a mix with sounds that would otherwise interfere by subtle use of reverb, panning and stereo imaging. All in all a solid slab of a track. No new tricks or big change ups/edits here - but you've dished out your share of those in other tracks.
