As we move into the new year, we intend to start things off with a bang! and exactly that we will do.
For the first edition of DnbXXL of 2004, we bring you the mighty Dj Keaton. Keaton is a name which has been around in the drum n bass scence for time. Formerly a one third of the outfits Usual Suspectcs and Universal Project, which have provided us with such anthems as "Killa Bees", "Sharpnel", "Bleach" and "Haunted Dreams" to name but a few. In the last year or so, Keaton has been concentarting heavily on his solo projects as well as new collaborations with the likes of Hive from San Fransisco, which resulted in one of this years biggest tunes "The Plague". Keaton has also been very sought after for remix duties this year, having remixed Klute's "gluesniffer", Le Lutin's "future Mash up" and the sublime re-work of Digital's "Gateman". With a hectic dj schedule worldwide and releases coming left, right and centre, keaton is without a doubt man of the moment!
Our local guest of the night is non other than former Red Zone member Dj Sin. Sin has been an established dj in the dutch dnb scene for quite some time, having played at near enough every venue in the country and has gained himself a reputation of being one of the most upfront dj's with his always exclusive selections and unique mixing style. In the last quarter of this year, Sin decided too part from his homebase, Red Zone, and pursue his solo career. Now Sin is focusing on his productions skills and ofcourse his very own imprint "Ghetto Technologies". Check him out at as he spreads the universal beatz!
Last but not least we have Mc Proskript who will be backing our very own Mc Jay on the mic. Proskript has been taking the dutch dnb scene by storm, and with good reason! With residencies at Major League and Blender, this young man definatley has flow.
