Do you already own a decent soundcard?

if so this is probably not worth getting seeing as one of its main functions is audio interface.
But it is also a synth very similar to the KS which i've used and thought was pretty good.

If you do need a soundcard this would be a good idea as you get a synth too!

i was thinking of using it more along the lines of a control surface, been told it can automatically read plug-in parameters on absynth, rob papen synths and loads more plug-ins. makes automating bass a shit load easier if theres actual dials and faders to move by hand me thinks.

Then why not get a midi controller with some dials and faders? It will proabably cost you (much) less then buying a hardware synth.

the x-station acts a midi controller, full of assignable dials and faders, its just that it offers more than a typical midi controller for about the same price. its more than just a hardware synth.
