2 hours ago in Izegem city , west flanders , my home city:

1 goods-train drove into a train with passengers that stand still.
1 heavy damaged train conductor
4 light dameged passengers

it was the train to my school Big Grin

good that i skipped my lessons this afternoon Big Grin

In the news item they mentioned that the passenger train was almost empty when the freight train hit it, most people had gotten off the train just a couple of minutes before the collision Shocked

If it would have collided 3 minutes earlier there would have been hundreds of casualties

Although such an accident is a bad thing it is far better than a plane crash. None got killed in this case.
