hi all here I am again with another interesting question. I can't figure out how to work with the vocoder in fl7 (all tutorial video's are from earlyer versions) could someone help me please? I wonna make a synth like it's speaking

I believe there's a video on youtube that deals with version 6 and I don't think there have been any changes since version 6 to the vocoder.
Check this link on Warbeats.com for the best video around. If that doesn't help I can't help you either

effect on a channel.
left side affects what's playing on the right side.so you have 2 different sound son the left and right and then the effect Vocodes them together.

Aaaaaaaaaaaand that's an empty explanation
but that's actually it. See the tutorial video that BattleDrone posted, I've seen it once and it has helped me a lot to get me started with FL Studio's Vocoder. BTW left and right channels (carrier and modulator) can be switched.

why for all the fruity plugg-ins there's a little button on them that says help if you click on the tab to insert effects. it's on the bottem of the drop down menu.

ok so part of the problem is solved exept for this one: all video's show something live played and than say you can used it with your sequencer and some recorded stuff like recording your voice but if i just do everything the same and i just make a melody with my carrier in piano roll and then sequence my recorded voice at the same time it doesn't work jet

make sure the mixed wet is up, if yu have the routing done the exact same one panned left the other right you should hear them if you turn up the the volume for either track ON THE VOCODER you should hear soemthing. if not then there's a probblem with the routing.
if they are bothing coming in then try one fot eh vocoders presets to get it set up well.
BUT WAIT.
the main problem COULD BE this. if you use a synth that's not int he same ragne as yuor voice then not mcuh will come out. you need to use a big full rich sound, like a rave lead, or a really distoed guitar, or a full string section.
or make teh piano roll chords.

just how do you get that effect like the voice is twisting groups like daftpunk use it really much
