The basic idea is nice, but the song needs something more. Maybe use the existing reece as a background sound and add a new lead sound on top of it to break the monotony a bit.
I like the variation on the reece at 3:07. I also like the second part of the basic reece melody better, I'm not so fond of the first part where it changes to a different chord every 4 bars, is a bit too predictable IMO.
Strange how you introduce the second drum layer at 0:59, guess you're still working on that 
The basic track is good tho, just needs to be worked out.
BTW are you sure that movie sample isn't copyrighted? I know that people have been sued for using samples from movies such as pulp fiction, so be careful with that!!
