 Keyboard Laptop Malfunction |

ok i got this problem today and therefore i FUCKING CANCELLED MY GIG FOR TOMORROW 
i was on my laptop (Toshiba tecra) tickeling and suddenly i found some errors during typing , some letters werent typed at all and sometimes it opend a menu (alt + letter comb.) 
then i restarted my pc an i couldnt login ?
again no letters were typed only sometimes and sometimes it opend the menus again (anullate , options)
then i opened my laptop , demontated my keyboard, cleaned it , inserted it again but still got probs.
then i demontated the ZIF connector and plugged it back in , but no improvement 
then after an hour i tried again and it worked ... but... suddely the alt -function combination started again , letters werent typed and shit started again.
i did a virusscan , deleted the treats , started my pc again and... FUCKING KEYBOARD problems again 
so no i cant login , and if i can , keyboard shit starts again 
whats the prob then ? hardware ? software ?
what should i do ? format ? extern keyboard ? new keyboard ?
help me (im on the normal pc now)

if you hold the shift key down to long,...it changes all the command's,..i did that once, can't remember how i fixed it though,..i don't know what the fuck im talkin bout,...cheers Greyone,..someone help the man.

Hmmm, this is def. not a virus or something, I think one of your alt keys gets stuck in the down position sometimes. Did u spill any (sticky)liquid on the keyboard? Or do you eat when your at the computer?
If I were you I´d try to use an external keyboard, but on most laptops it´s either a keyboard or a mouse you can connect, not both unless they are USB.

naah its not the altbutton thet is stuck , i removed it and it still did the combination things.

dunno guess not , oh yeah food on the board
but i cleaned it now ... not entirely tho... good tip 
i can add multiple usb things so external too i guess , but i'll deliver my laptop in in school for repair .

anyway I FOUND THE PROBLEM but no clue what the solution would be...
my keyboard allways types in the Alt + letter combination , so i can only open menu's and shit.
i dont know if the alt button is stuck or if some circuit is shortcut , anyway it prevents me to log in
so how can i work with an external keyboard if im not able to log in ?

hey...
if you plug your keyboard before startin up, the external one will be the master... so you'll be able to login I think...
funny tho, looked like a virus to me....

FIXED
it was my alt know who was stuck :-p
i cutted its inside open and cleaned it , there was a shortcut 
thanx for all your concerns , now go produce , get signed and dj and earn some money !
