Please check out my new track 'The Return of Atomic Age Vampires' and post your comments here!!!
Like I mentioned in another thread, it's been ages since I've finished a drum n bass tune. Now, during last two weeks, I've been in vacation, mostly avoiding the renovating and house painting tasks. So I've had time to work with grazy drum'n bass, hopefully (or unfortunately, you decide) there is more to come!
Contains sound samples an Italian film titled "Seddok, l'erede di Satana" (1960), directed by Anton Giulio Majano. This movie was later dubbed into English and retitled "Atom Age Vampire". These samples are from dubbed version. According to my best knowledge the movie has published under Creative Commons Public Domain licence - allowing me to sample these clips.

I am also using one of the title tracks from this movie, composed by Armando Trovajoli.
You can watch the whole movie from http://www.archive.org/details/AtomAgeVampire .
Please tell me what you think, especially I am worried that bassline is too loud, and words cannot be understood.
And yes, I recognize this so Cheesy, Camp and Gay that I must remind you from fact that I am married with children :-) This is also why the tune is only 3:40 long, instead of very common 6 minutes.

Nice 1 man , likin the vibe
Nice bassline , the beat exept the snare is wonderful , snare doesn't suit the track i guess , more traditional jazz snare would sound perfect...
Too much drops man
Too much vocal loops ... Can't say that they are bad , they are perfect for the theme ...
Good 1 in general if u'll make some varieties

Thanks Rodi,
I had a great trust in you, I wouldn't be surprised if everyone else would flame this tune into deepest gutter, I was sure you would not hate it
Yea, gotta think about that jazz snare, now all live beats i've played come from cheap ass CM-505 analog modeling drum synth that came free with music mag, and snare ain't more than white noise with distortion on
Also, gotta think about the structure of this song.... now it runs and stops. I did not see it as a issue because I do not think someone would like to dance to this, I just paid homage to a shitty horror movie that has 3.2/10 rating in www.imdb.com

lol , atleast u use some equipment
, me + my pc + good(imo) speakers , FL Studio - thats all
Droping the composition rather too many times is not a big problem as u thought i ment , im just telling people how i would make in that-this situation , imo , when u drop it so many times , it seems like pieces ...

Cute that somebody dares to do something outside the box for a change. The drums should have some more presence though, they kinda drown in the whole. Bass has to much bottom and to less top I think.
With some touching up this could be really good layed back stuff.

if you think lim gonna go easy on you due to it "being ages since you've made a drumnbass track" you have another thing comeing ( just saying that cause you told me i should of posted mix& match 4 years ago. but anyways here it goes you better be ready for this one.............. its good, like the flow, nice jazzy feel to it . the song it self realy isnt my style but i like the structure. vocals are a bit to much for me. but anyways good job
