Your bassdrum is all bass and has no initial hit, layer it with the hit of another kick (or a little piece of snare or.... be creative) and highpass the drum at 80Hz or so to get the deep end off.
To get punch on your bassdrum and snare you could layer them ofcourse, but you could also use Izothope Ozone to process them. To get a better feel to the kick and snare I sometimes pitch them up a bit.
Your bass is all sub and no mids. If you lowpassed the bass then stop doing that 
Otherwise layer a second bass onto the one you are using now (don´t add the samples together, use a different sample and let it play the same patterns, the mid needs to be processed differently).
For the "boring" stab, you are pretty much right. Use your imagination and experiment with it. Something that always goes well with such an instrument is a Rhodes organ, but then againm think outside the box.
