Please check out my new track 'Chicken Or The Beef?' and post your comments here!!!

unmastered at this stage, but compositionaly finished, I hope you guys enjoy,if you listen please leave a review! At this stage I have no mastering software as I use registered version of cubase sl3 and only use the free steinberg plugins that come with. Basically I dont like using software "illegaly" if you know what i mean, although it is out there and easily obtained! thanks heaps if you review, I have some gigs approaching and need feedback from the drumnbass,be crew. RESPECT!

only complaint out of the great sound and great composition, is the lack of a hook, by means of a sample or tune. that's about it...

something that a friend could use to identify a song to another friend. you know? that's the worset i can say. nice stuff.

in regards of "mastering" you just need a little bit of a "limiter" on the master output to get a mix to come out a bit more full and loud, like it would sound in mastering. the best one you got. so whatever lags you out the most.

and a limiter to make sure it doens't go into red, and clip.

that's all mastering is a job producers don't do, it's an art onto it self that people have studios built that a single compressor in it is the cost of the down payment of a house.

producers do MIXES! we're the design guys

engineers do mastering. the do the pragmatic, pratical stuff that has nothing to d with art, except making art fit ito a practical format.

whoops I did listen so here it goes

first off, the drums sound completelyu arrythmical, samples need a great deal of ADSR tweaking to blend in with eachother

interesting modulations on the bass riff

not diggin the piano and think youre better off without it

needs more fx and whatnot when it slows to half, it comes abruptly

also the point in which you converse to the dnb speed could be a great momentum shifter, instead it passes almost unnoticable

but as it is, the drums need the most attention to them

keep at it
