hey peeps
i recently downloaded a load of rex2 files which was sweet
But when i came to use them on kontak2 for some reason the kontakt found the files with which the samples were saved in but it wouldnt find any audio samples in them, which wasnt sweet
so what im asking is do ineed to convert them all into wav files?
if i do how do i do it or is there a much simpler way of getting round this?

rex files are used in reason or recycle. In Reason, you can use em in DR rex sampler.

ive heard though that certain kontakt versions will ce them too or is that just a rumor

erm most sequencers sampler vsts worth their coin can use rex/rx2 files.. of course the exception is ableton... but i find workin in straight audio to be my prefered method these days..

thanks for the help.
i to try to use audio files but im limited to what i have in audio files only own two sample cds at the mo more will be purchesed soon
but i was talking to a mate of mine an he said that my version of kontakt wont play them and that i would nees an updated version of kontakt but that cant be true i think he talking shat but then he knows more than i do so.
but thanks for the help again will try to get it working

dood you do know this is the internet right?? check the samples section here and dnbwiki.com has a whole host of free samples... check around man.. there is a lot of stuff out there..
