im getting the dynaudio bm6a pretty soon... my brother has the dynaudios air 15... they are fuckiinnng linear and great to mix on... but wat i think is important to do is go to a music store... (Feedback) and then ask to listen to a song you heard on your on monitors or in studios lots of times.. and then see which one you think sounds 'best' and easiest to mix on... dont eventually go for what other people say... its important for your ears to think about what monitor is best
also what does your budget allow... lol
i went to the feedback and checkout the monitors with prodigy out of space... love that track.. also gave me great reference...

Sony Headphones.
if you listen to popular music on the monitors in the same room all the teim, you'll get to know where the sounds are storng or weak.
the first few mixes you do, play the songs on some other speakers, i.e. car, boombox, something like that, and just see where it's too loud or quiet.
that way you'll get to know the strength and weakness int eh sound fo the speakers. from there you can make good mixes.
basicly anything can be good if you know thier sounds.
