Please check out my new track 'Alien approaching!' and post your comments here!!!
Alright, 1st one up so be kind!
Just D/Led a bunch of samples of DNBwiki and figuring out how to use slicer and stuff.
I thought it would be funny to combine those vocal samples to make a little scene
"Alien approaching - argh!"
Haven't really finished it either but thought i'd get something up (...)
Peace

Is this really the first thing you ever made
its not bad at all
for being the first one
you synths are a bit loud and the beats are just samples you can hear that clearly
but certainly nt bad
you sound quality is above average
nice job

thanks for the comment - it's not the first thing i've ever done, but it was the first time i used anything other than the FL samples/synths and the first time i attempted to chop beats up rather than programming one shots...

alright mate
listened on the headphones so cant be too precise about stuff but here goes..........................
the vocal on the intro is a good idea.........the bass is too loud........
put the 7 band eq on your beats and mess around till you think it sounds right.
i use fruity too.
now you know how to use the slicer........you will find that your production and finished sound takes a massive leap!! take this advice tho man..............slicers are good.but you gottta still use the one shots too.......layer it up real nice (kicks and snares mostly).
also.the tune is a bit fast it sounds like. slow it down a couple of bpms.
will look out for your stuff in future and see how your style develops!
peace out mate

he's right. part of drums , which isn't noticable at all, but is a heavily used trick by everyone, is layering drums. sometimes 3 or more layers een.. but at the least you'd layer another nare and kick on the break.
try slightly distorting the amen to make it , louder, fuller, and have more presence.
