the best peice of advice i can give is try to make your track sound as good as you can before maximizing loudness or adding reverb. reverb can take the life and power right out of a mix faster than hooker at a republican convention.

More stuff
- What soundcard do I need?
- What is ASIO?
- What is latency?
- There are no ASIO drivers for my soundcard. How do I get my latency down?

idea for a tutorial section
divide the section into segments
one on drums and rythem
one one bass sound design
one on the art of random sounds
one on break slicing technique
these are just some random ideas but you get the general idea.

Well, I already have sections
- Section sounds
- Section song elements
- Section gear
- Section program specific questions
But I'm sure I'll have to devide it more since not everything fits into this.
I think I'm gonna add a section for sample editing.

that would be cool because everybody does something different and there arent many rules to editing samples. be nice to discuss all of are own techniques

If u need something about the basic build of frequencies & stuff, and on how filters work I can write some explanations on that. Not saying everything will be perfect, but I'm sure there's some people here who can back me up as well on making things more understandable to anyone, ass well as possible technical errors.

how do you get that distorted...bass dropping sound
don`t know how to explain it....but i notice most tracks basslines seem like they are made from more than one synth/sample or whatnot...like the total sound isn`t just one setting....how do you sequence something like that whatever it`s called.
