Cheers,
The synth in the begging brings nice feeling of building up, but not feeling the sound of it too much. The beat after the break kicks ass, i love it, old skool feel. That sudden break at around 2:20 sound a bit strange. Guitar riff fits in nicely and supports the whole feeling of this track, which is dark as hell
Some beat variations would be nice, that drum loop is suited for some mad slicing and editting, but thats just my taste. Nice track, little bit chaotic structure imo, but some nice ideas in it, especially the beat. cheers
Nice job, I really like the arp that cuts through the tune. A little bit of atmo would give it alot of character. I thought the second drop was a bit too empty and kind of offset the flow of things. Overall a nice effort though, I like it.
nice one,...that sounds like an old analog synth,..did you sample that beast you posted a while back that you had at your school??,..can't remember what synth it was,... drum's sound great when you drop that break>1:09,.<i would have stuck with that break and built on it instead of switching between different break's,..anyway,..just me idea,..beuty mix on my end,..sounds big,..heafty tune,...cheers.
a bit too acidy in the intro fro my liking. when the beats dropped thez feel a little underpowered by that huge synth. someting with timing of the reverse crash is not quite right
needs stronger beats, more beat variations anda decent bass sound
contrats -finaly a tune from you that can be followed
Synts in in tro are nice, nice mlody , spacy a little, but no so spacy, beats are well sounding, that breakdown is like heaven to me , its all very clear, maybe the intro is too sudden, jeah i cant tell you anything bad about it, bu i certainly like your beats soo and everything fits toghether well Some nice thing going on.
in the begining that modulating synthy pattern seemes a bit bland by itself, I can tell that it would fit better in the mix by taking a bit out at around (and dont quote me on this) - 200Hz, unless youve eqd it differently when the drums come in.
I like the drum beat a lot, just could be a bit more punchy.. the way it drops in is cool i wasnt expecting that.
first of all............love the arp!!! crazy filtering work n shit!!!
its nice n thick n tasty!!
keeps the tune moving in the right direction mostly, but........i dunno,
there is an element missing from the track.
sounds really deep and smooth when that guitar type pad swoops in but it dissapears all too suddenly for me. loved that sound, so i'd use it a bit more.
maybe some echoed techy style vocals might help with the "feel" and style of the tune.
anyways, enjoyed the listen, some nice fresh sounds ya got there bro!!
PEEEAAACE!!!
+) Like the trancey intro and the filtering
+) 1:47 when u bring in the second pad and the guitar at 2:32 are some nice touches
-) different drums in the track kinda makes the track a bit disjointed
-) lacks a bit of structure/arrangement and progression is a bit too up and down rather than Build up-->main part-->break down-->build up etc.
Im definately feeling the elements in this track but i think seven gun sums it up when he says "there is an element missing from the track". I cant quite put my finger on it.
trancin out synth in the intro is alright.
the drums sit alright, but they feel a bit old skool... if its and old skool break trance feel ur goin for... it sounds good... if not, thats what i think it sounds like.
What's up Halph. Synth starts abruptly - and I wasn't too fond of the soud until it started filtering - then it evolved into a pretty damn sweet sound. Nice bit cymbal build - big sound at the drop. Not sure what style you'd call this though - goes back and forth between the breaks with that typical house hat loop and then slow jungle breaks (like that part). The mix is good and the drums and that big synth are mixed very well, but it seems like those are the only two elements in the track (with the exception of the new synth added around 3:40) - where is the sub/bass? That being said - the mix still works cause the kick of the breaks is floor shaking. The drop out at 2:15 is really thin - but the build up and drop at 3:20 is damn good.
