nice track the bass is a bit dull, it's deep, but it's muddy, and not defined. either add a thin synth an octave or 2 above it, or distort it to warm it up a bit.

also to get rid of the muddiness try scooping out 200hz or around there, somewhere the kick should be punching through. it'll still be deep but not so dull sounding. that might be all that needs to be done to help.

also even thoguh it's a great chillaxin choon it couldn't hurt to have a hook of some sort. seems like a sax or something wouldn't hurt inbetween the drops.

it sounds good though and it probably took a lot fo work.

Please check out my new track 'Exploration of Space' and post your comments here!!!

Cheers Halph-price, yep the bass sounds a bit deep and dull, I tried my best but this sound was the best i could do Big Grin . Sax, I think of something similar but i have no vst of that kind, but it would sound great I think. The track took me some time, thats for shure, but still it could sound a bit better imo. btw what do you mean with "scooping"?

Good song, reminds me some of counterstrike, jeah the bass is deep and not to kicky, but certainly not wrong. Its nice job you did on this one.

pad sound on the intro reminds me of b there 4 u.
chilled vibe.
because you used the bass in the intro it doesnt really have any impact when it comes in later on.
in some places one of the bass notes doesnt sit properly.
has a bit of a klute vibe but needs filling out imo.
solid computer game music at the minute. could be good though.

just my opinion though

mainy because of the structure/arrangement. from a dj point of view i dont think this would be very easy to mix. im not saying theres anything wrong with it Big Grin its just you bring that bass in very early, but then it doesnt really change when it comes back in later. and the heavy part of the track has already been played, and thats kind of what the tune should be based around, yknow have that as the main section. i relly like the bleepy synths when it comes in at 2.12, gives it a nice feel. but i feell like ive already heard the tune before its started as the bass comes in so early. maybe try the bleepy synth on the intro and some other layers and hold the bass off until later in the tune. some epic horns would really set this off as well.

again, its just my opinion.
