tried an experiment with this one, blending the "dubby" style with a trippy tech vibe.
played this out and the crowd response was excellent.
need producer feedback tho.

It's got something making me move definitly, but it I'm still too hungry...
The beats and melody are nice, but bore easily, might need more euhm, effects, adds, more breaks ... hm hard to define.
Beginning bit sounds quite trippy, sounds get a little muddled at some points due to the delay and disharmonics when the delayed notes hit other notes.
Drums are pretty nice, pretty crisp but need some more backing bits in, ghost snares etc to fill in the vacant bits in the middle of the bar. Easy way to get more depth to your drums is to layer suitable breaks behind the drums.
Sub bass is good although bassline feels a little sparse when all the atmosphere drops off.
Not bad tune mate, needs a little work to tidy up some elements and add more depth.

not my best track by a long shot. dont want to put best stuff on first. true about the melodic disharmony in parts.
a simple track done quite quickly, just a little roller.

true about the lack of depth, was going for a vibe rather than sampling perfection!
NICE TRACK the start was amazing. then this delay thing comes in sounding really thin and alone. i get they sound nice overlapping but it's just empty and makes the disharmonics sound crazy. a nice fleshy sound can help.
the bass that creeps in cannot be reproduced by many people's systems. it's deep, but you can have it too deep sometimes.
it's a dub-like bass but it needs some lower-mid to it. it's all just bottem, deep deep bottem. it'll help flesh out the delay synths, or get a pad layerd in there, the pad you started with is amazing, and it's a shame you don't have another one to move from.
like at 5:33 when yuo got the warbs with the delays, that sound full and nice, they fit together well. you need them both playing at the drop if not more!

good review and all your points are sound and helpful.
you can show a tune tune someone who just "likes" DnB and they'll say it's the best thing since sliced bread, but with a producer, you get detailed info and proper feedback!!!!

Not that I know anything but this is what I thought
Sounded rather simple...not in a bad way. I thought all the different elements came together pretty nicely...really nicely actually (now that I listen again). I like how the different sections morph around and take elements from other sections. Yeah, very cool. I wish I could do that.
And I like how it changes from melodic to dissedent and back again a lot. Though perhaps too much dissedence for my ear in in the part from 3.36.
I feel it needs something else though, cos I got a little bored of it. For instance, Im not mad about that bass and snare combo being for the whole track....though it sounds raw and good for most of it!
Personally I think some like, warm bass in there somewhere from time to time would widen the sound a bit.
Anyway, I really liked it! Sort of what Im aspiring to at the moment
