Yes, I'm hearing the influece of Alix Perez here, but it's still VERY much your style too. Ofcourse you are going for a world class producer here. I checked out some recent tracks from him and I do have some remarks on your track based on that (sorry, but you made it easy to critisize
)
His subs sound crystal clear. Maybe you should update your sub sound? (It's the regular sub or?). Missing some dub style ehcoing melodic elements.
He has these nice bass stabs going on which keep the track interesting.
The vocals are more dub style which fits very well in the atmosphere.
Your track proves that you know what your doing, but it sounds so "safe" and within boundaries. Why not break out a bit without losing your identity?

hehe - very true battledrone, wasnt trying to copy aliz perez at all, just love the elements he creates in his tracks, especially the smooth flow which is what i was attempting to go for here, didnt really go for the bass stabs.
On the "safeness" front - got one or two real grimey tracks on the go at the moment, so i promise no more liquid at least for a track or two.
nice intro, Id go crazy with highpass and reverbs, delays, expand the already nice warm noise you got going in highs. the wahwah synth is class, maybe alittle more release on that
the drums could be sharper, they feel lofi at the moment
some clicks here and there, could be the encoding
nice little idea, Im interested in hearing this develop
Very chill tune, especially with the spanish woman at the background, makes me feel on vacation in spain.
The non continuation of beats is lovely, doens't get boring this way.
SOme question, for you. Those breaks are amazingly chill, how do you get that rolling feeling, en keeping it so light and lovely.
Cant you help me a bit with that.
intro: nice choice of samples..like the rewinded one....drums come in sweet..nice vox.......like ya lfo stuff.....intro gets bit long.....
drop: i think the sub could boost bit more.....its smooth but not too interesting.....2:40: waiting for new elements in the tune.....diggin the high synth...and i mostly aint diggin high synths, big up

3:20: gets bit boring now..
overall its a sweet tune....but you have to make some breaks and add some stuff maybe a midbass to really finish it i think......

heard a couple of your tunes now and totally sounds like you're diggin the hospital and the liquid v sounds.
very hard style to conquer because of the BIG musical elements to the style, but you seem to pull it off nicely!!
the latin vocal is nice but needs slowing down a tad.
beats are sweet and they roll well.
bass is a bit ordinary unfotunatley. would like to see you push yourself a bit more on that front. too samey samey!!

think your "vibe" and your sampling is your strength so keep it up.

Thanks for the comments and helpful hints everyone, really feeling this one so gonna try and work hard to liven up the boring patches off this song, sort out the bass and generally spice things up a bit

you over use that smaple in teh start. notice most songs won't , or at least, shouldn't,use the hook more than about 5 times in the song, if not less. you used it about that long before teh first drop.
and then in the background during it filterd.
ya it's a cool sound, but save it, maybe the start, when the intro drums come in or a bar or two after. then after the drop throw it back in there, or something.
you got some nice sounds rolling in there though. it's a pro sounding song, punchy drums and it's dancfloor. filtered vocals make it sound good too.
