Hi guys. I was preparing a huge project that would have laster for 50 minutes, including dnb, atmospheric electronica, progressive rock, metal, turbo-folk parody and what else... but I lost everything in an unhappy event just 2 months ago.

The only thing that remained were the rendered mp3 files which were in my mp3 player. So I connected them, and uploaded on my ftp server so you can hear them.

This is only 20 minutes from the whole work, and these 20 mins are only 60% finished, so don't expect much. I am doing a project on the same plan now, but doing regular backups now Big Grin

So, enjoy and drop a word, k? Smile

The melodies sound "nice" :p, but to choppy sometimes, and i'd use some other melodic chords and variation with the piano.
10 mins the same melody is quite boring... Smile

The beginning bassguitar(?) is bit to dull to use it that long, use effects. the same for the melody, let it change.

Same for the piano, make it more real

about the elektric guitar lead: make it sound louder in the mid/mid-hi freqs, and not so "choppy" sometimes

About the intro voice used: definitly use some reverb and/or delay on it and turn it down.

I like the stuff at the last very much, really digging this :p

The melodies (not all of them) really need work, get the pitch right or make another melody.

if I where you i'd make it more "one piece". Not a dull intro and a fat outro, completely seperated from each other. But once the tunes goes on, i must say, you did some nice melodic work Wink

Use the beatsand rhythmic patterns from the faster part in the beginning and middle, but do it subtile (not like now: to "nice"), so you still have the feeling of something that has to grow to it's climax, the final part where you crazy Wink

Start's really odd.
The guitar sounds very pc, so does the piano, it misses feeling. It's played from a certain (figural) distance. And, to be honnest is this beginning a laughter? Sounds more like carnaval in the beginning.
The real drum'n bass, starting from like 15 minutes or so is rather non-appropriate. I suddenly like it from 16:30, that's because it's something COMPLETELY different, more like a jungleremix, completely cool, but what's the link to the rest of the piece?

My opinion though.

Well, I gotta remind you that this was done about 5-6 months ago when I was still struggling with some basic concepts of music, theory etc. I'm better now, and I'm doing a project on the same concept now.

As I said, the project files from this one were lost, and that's why it's not finished.

Thank you very much for your reviews Smile
