Huh its probably been asked a 1000 times,but ere goes,how can i add a bit of power to my drops????ive tried all sorts of tings ...any help...anyone Huh

hmmm, well, i guess everyone's got their own methods. me personally, i like to rely on the silence before the drop sometimes and then about 1 bar before i wanna drop ill creep in some little gradual buildup to give the drop some momentum. then when the shit actually drops, you just gotta feel it out with different sounds that give ya a slam to the face feel. i like to use crash cymbals on occassions for that "splash" feel when the shit drops. or some kinda synth or voc stab right on the first beat of the first bar of the drop. i think it's really hard to explain how to do a proper drop cuz for me it's just trial and error, throwing in different shit to see what gives ya a slam feel. sorry i couldn't be much more helpful tho.
